Puppy Grooming Checklist: What You Really Need

Grooming your doodle puppy... For new owners, it's a quest. And we'd love to help you get started. To begin grooming, there are a few must-haves that every owner needs.
In this blog, you'll find 4 essentials you shouldn't miss for grooming your puppy.
1. Double-sided brush
Also known as the puppy brush. With this brush, you can gently introduce your puppy to brushing. The sooner you start, the smoother grooming will be later.
The soft side of the brush is ideal for a gentle introduction. You can find out how to get your puppy used to brushing here.
2. Pet dryer
Drying your puppy is not an immediate concern. But as your doodle gets older, you'll use the pet dryer often. And then you'll be glad if your doodle doesn't get anxious.
Do you want this to go stress-free? Then it's important to get your puppy used to it. We've already made the noise level of our pet dryer extra quiet. Still, it's best to start early. That way, you have time to build up gradually.

3. Double-sided comb
Have you already brushed through the coat? Then it's time to check for knots. Gently go through the coat with the double-sided comb to ensure no knots are left behind.
4. Safety scissors
From the beginning, it's important to trim around the eyes and paws.
Eyes - After a while, your puppy's fur will grow over their eyes. Then they can't see anything anymore. It's useful to trim this so they can discover the world with a clear view.
Paws - If the fur here is too long, your puppy will slip on the floor. Additionally, it will also tangle. Therefore, regularly trim around the paw pads.
With the rounded tips of the safety scissors, you can trim around sensitive areas without worries.
Let your puppy shine
